Two of my favorites were The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare and Black Magic: What Black Leaders Learned from Trauma and Triumph by Chad Sanders. ![]() I closed out 2021 reading a total of 24 books. It has been a pleasure thus far connecting with individuals about the importance of diversity and inclusion work in an educational environmental, and how it takes the effort of all of us to move the needle forward. ![]() I have the opportunity, with the help of students and colleagues, to create the foundation of what this role becomes in the future.
